Arizona is Evil!

I haven’t been keeping up with the new law Arizona passed but I read an article today saying that some protesters have been smearing swastikas on the State Capital with refried beans.  After I stopped laughing at the thought of someone smearing refried beans on the side of a building I finished reading the article.  A thought just occurred to me though….why refried beans?  Is there, I dunno, a hidden meaning in that?  Just wondering…but anyway…may I just say this:

Not to offend anyone but….well, here we go…….The opponents of this new law…and the ACLU…are idiots.  (Not exactly an exclusive list of idiots but in this case I’m sticking to these particular two groups of morons.)

From what I’ve read of this new law it seems that Arizona is making it a crime, by Arizona state law, to be in the United States illegally.  So basically…if you’re in the United States illegally, it’s a crime.  Now correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t it seem, I dunno, like common sense that something illegal is, you know, a crime?  So what’s the big frikkin’ frakkin’ deal?

Ohhhh I see… it’s opening the doors to massive profiling!

“If you look or sound foreign, you are going to be subjected to never-ending requests for police to confirm your identity and to confirm your citizenship,” said Alessandra Soler Meetze, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Arizona, which is exploring legal action.

I’m going to have to disagree with that statement.  Why?  Because it’s a politically correct statement (and to me at least its a common cause fallacy) and as anyone with any common sense and intelligence will tell you, politically correct statements are retarded.  *chuckles*  See what I did there?

Let’s break down Alessandra’s statement just a bit.  “If you look or sound foreign.”  Can we be any more vague?  I mean seriously……What, exactly, is foreign?  I know what I think the ACLU means by saying “foreign” but are we talking all “foreign” appearances and vocal undulations or just certain ones?  ‘Splain yourself!  Next part: “…you are going to be subjected to never-ending requests for police to confirm your identity and to confirm your citizenship.”  Over exaggerate much?  Really?  Never-ending?  Like, never?  Ever?  Personally I don’t see anything wrong with making sure someone, anyone, is here and not breaking the law.  Plus adding that ANYONE that looks or sounds foreign would be checked is a gross over exaggeration as well.  The Arizona gov made it clear that they’re won’t be going around pointing at non whities and yelling, “Hey!  You there with the darker skin, get over here and prove your legal!”  The article states, “Brewer has ordered state officials to develop a training course for officers to learn what constitutes reasonable suspicion that someone is in the U.S. illegally.”  Trust me, being “non-white” is not going to constitute a “reasonable suspicion.”  Chill out ACLU.

Another part of the article I read said this:

“The White House would not rule out the possibility that the administration would take legal action against Arizona.”

Well duh, this administration is all about making various people groups…..you know, like hispanics, blacks, women, and gays happy and voting for dems.  Liberals are all about the diversity, not to be mistaken with unity.  They are quite different but that’s a different day and a different blog.  I don’t put anything past Obama, he’s just the type of president to yell at Arizona, “How dare you make something illegal a criminal act!”

Now, if you want to get into the legal aspects of the law.  Then you MIGHT have a valid complaint.  Both sides have valid points of the legality, or lack there of, of the new law.  Technically local law enforcement officers don’t have the authority to enforce immigration law unless given to them by the federal government, but Arizona can claim to have overlapping authority to protect it’s citizens.  Personally I think this is something Arizona and it’s citizens should deal with and the ACLU, California, and Al Sharpton need to shut the frikkin’ frak up and let Arizona deal with Arizona.  Lots of illegals and drugs enter into the US through Arizona and they want it stopped.  According to the same article the law has strong public support and the few polls I’ve seen have it up around 70% approval so seriously, let them do what they will and see if the results are massive police abuse a racial profiling.  I tend to lean towards the opponents over exaggerating a wee bit.  We shall see.
